Helping Bread Nose Day

When Dan Scobie, one of the organising committee from Shipston Food Festival contacted us and asked if we would be willing to help out with some loan equipment for their up and coming Bread Nose Day, we couldn't help but want to get involved.

Dan told us that he was getting together a group of amateur bakers for the second year running, to bake as much bread as possible through the night to sell in Shipston the following day, with all proceeds going to comic relief. Whilst last year they made a fabulous £600, this year he wanted to achieve £1000 but felt that the domestic equipment they had would prove a challenge.

We were happy to assist with the loan of a Hobart A200 mixer which would enable them to mix more dough quicker and more efficiently than their Kitched Aid and also a Brand New Rofco B40 Oven, which is designed for small home starts and also micro bakeries.

It was delivered on Friday to enable the guys from Bread Nose to get used to the equipment in preparation for the big event on March 13th and 14th. We wish them the very best of luck and hope that they get to raise lots of money for such a great cause. If you are in the area of Shipston, head over to the square and stock up on some delicious loaves of Real Bread made with real love and passion.
