Polin have been building ovens since 1929 and are Italy's most prestigious manufacturer. We secured the UK distributorship allowing us to bring the range of ovens, mixers, bread plants, depositors etc to the UK bakery community over 20 years ago. Since then, we have installed 1000's of machines and offer equipment for the craft and industrial market from the Polin group, which also includes the Mixer, Ram and Raumer brands.
Scottish Bakers Association
Being part of an organisation that has been supporting and protecting the interests of Scotland's bakery trade since it was established in 1891 is a privilege. With years of experience they are a credible voice for our industry to drive growth across their members businesses, large and small through. We love attending their annual conferences, demonstration days and study tours, keeping that conncection between both baking markets.
British Society of Baking
We are proud to work closely with the Bristish Society of Baking. Founded in 1955, this organisation is available to a range of different sectors, including rail, plant, wholesale, and craft bakers as well as suppliers like millers, ingrediant sellers and equipment makers, providing education and technical expertise on the bakery industry.
The annual conferences provide an opportunity for sectors to come together and discuss key subjects and trends that influence the sector, as well as forming key links across the industry through corporate away days and seminars.
Baking Industry Awards
Since we started sponsoring this prestigious award in 2014, we have visited bakers up and down the UK, each year travelling around 1,200 miles to see entrants at their bakeries. Each year we are blown away by the talent of our UK bakers and their dedication to their own progression within our wonderful industry. We are honoured to sponsor such a prestigious award and in particular the Baker of the Year Award.
World Bread Awards
Brook Food were thrilled to become Tiptree World Bread Awards first-ever Supporting Sponsor in 2015, and have been a valued member of the World Bread Awards family ever since. The Awards were hence known as the Tiptree World Bread Award with Brook Food and the Brook Food logo was incorporated into the World Breads Awards branding. The support of the team at WBA has been most valued, along with their important contribution to the promotion of the Awards within the baking industry.
Real Bread Campaign
Since 2008 when the charity started , we have been supporting the charities mission to allow everyone the chance to choose Real Bread without chemical raising agents, so-called processing aids or any other additives. Each year for Real Bread Week we celebrate bread from bakers around the UK who are doing just that!
Craft Bakers Association
Ensuring we are part of key industry bodies is important to us. The Craft Bakers Assocation has been the voice of craft bakery since 1888, to safeguard the future of this growing sector. With craft bakeries being on our key customer bases, it is important that we continue to support this growth.
