A Decade of Partnership: Brook Food’s Role in Cutter and Squidge’s Sweet Success

Ten years ago, we had the pleasure of meeting two incredibly passionate sisters, Emily and Annabel, who were embarking on an exciting new bakery venture—Cutter and Squidge. They had a clear vision for their brand and products, but like many start-ups, they faced the challenge of turning their ideas into a reality on a mass scale.

They came to us for advice, and we were thrilled to help them on their journey. Steve, one of our owners, met with them in our Old Cleeve test bakery, offering guidance and testing options for scaling up their production. As Emily and Annabel fondly recall, "the words of wisdom you gave us, which we still quote to this very day."

 

From that first meeting, we knew Cutter and Squidge had something special, and we’ve been proud to supply them with equipment ever since. Over the years, their operation has grown significantly, and we’ve supported them through every stage of that growth, providing key machinery such as dividers, multiple Hobart mixers, depositorsovens, pie machines, Polin mixers, sheeters, racks, and trays.

 

As they celebrate their 10th anniversary, it’s heartwarming to see how far they’ve come. Recently, they launched a new birthday range, marking this milestone in their business. As a lovely gesture, they sent us samples of their delicious new creations—reminding us just how far they’ve come since those early days in our test bakery.

It’s been a privilege to be part of Cutter and Squidge’s journey, helping them scale up their production while staying true to their unique vision. We look forward to continuing this partnership for many more years to come, supporting their growth and success.
